Prior to this week’s trip to Austin to speak at the University of Texas, I had the opportunity to do an interview for the Texas Standard program produced by Austin’s NPR station, KUT. For the entire length of the interview, I wondered why host David Brown’s voice sounded so familiar; wasn’t until afterward that I put two and two together: he’s the former host of NPR’s Marketplace show.
